1. Catch the Greenville Drive in Action

If you’re into baseball, take a trip down to Fluor Field, which is home to Greenville Drive, a minor league baseball team. The team is an advanced Class-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and a member of the South Atlantic League. Despite being a minor baseball stadium, Fluor Field has 6,700 seats and was designed by the famous DLR architectural firm and resembles the famous Fenway Park in Boston.

The field also has its very own ‘Green Monster’ (the 37-foot left-field wall at Fenway Park for right-hand batters) and a’ Pesky Pole’ that stands at 302 feet at the foul line in the right field. If you stop by, you can get your blankets out and enjoy the game with your family, buy iconic baseball gloves, and treat yourself to popcorn and cold beer.

2. Take a Stroll at the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail

Downtown Greenville’s famous Swamp Rabbit Trail is a multi-use trail where cyclists or walkers can follow the old railroad, which was renamed after the native swamp rabbit. You can bask in the lush greenery that surrounds the Reedy River and connects Greenville County with a plethora of breath-taking parks, local businesses, and schools.

Geocaching is a popular activity that people try out on this trail since it involves an outdoor, real-time treasure hunt that can happen through GPS-enabled devices. Take part in this fun adventure, and find more than 60 containers (geocaches) while you enjoy a walk or cycle around the trail.
